More Swimming

I couldn't resist putting this shot on the blog.

John's first hair cut

Sure does make this little man look so much older! But still so darn cute.

End of July Photo

Keith and I are very pleased with the way the front of the house looks this year. The flowers worked out great....and as always I loved the daylilies.

Another cake by Vivien

I don't believe this photo does justice to all the hand work that Vivien did on this cake. It was just beautiful!

Fixin' the back fence.

We got home from DE. early Monday morning. Brad came down for breakfast - I made blueberry pancakes. Next Steve and Di dropped of John for the day. Keith had bought the lumber for the fence before we left for DE so that was all ready to go. He worked on the fence til about 2 p.m. That's enough for one day. This bottom photo is taken after he took the old fence down and the one with Keith in it is him spraying the ant and bug killer. And the middle photo is the finised fence as of friday night.

Weekend with Howard and Donna in DE

Sat. night Howard made steak on the grill and Donna made a wonderful salad and pot. salad. The bread Keith bought went perfectly with the meal. We played cards again that night. Sunday morning Howard taught the sunday school lesson and preached the sermon at church...WONDERFUL. Late afternoon we ate chinese. Donna had asked me to help her with the computer, which we did off and on all weekend. Sunny would be proud of me - teaching someone else what she taught me in Fl. I think Donna was happy with what we did. We played some more cards and snacked a little before turning in for the night. Keith and I got up at 3 a.m. and drove the 2 1/2 hours home. You never want to drive home from the shore on a Sunday unless you want to sit in bumper to bumper traffic. Needless to say it was a great weekend. :)
Early Sat. morning we drove into Rehoboth to walk the boardwalk before the rest of the world showed up. It was great to see all the changes since we haven't been there in years and years. Of course we had to go into the bakery....everything looks wonderful.

No, Keith was not eating this coconut cake...but a customer was eating it outside on the boardwalk. It looked so good that we had to walk down to the shop and look around. Keith bought some bread and Howard bought some sticky buns.

Couldn't resist the chance to have our photo taken here. It was a hoot. A stranger must have taken 1/2 doz shots til we got a good shot. It was starting to get very hot by the time we did the long walk. We started at 8:30 and were back in the car at 10:15 a.m.

Nothing special about this other than it said Rehoboth Breach.

We arrived in DE last Friday afternoon. Donna and Howard took us to the golf club for the seafood feast...Oh was it delicious. We played hand and foot every night. And the girls won 2 or the 3 nights!!!
