Here we are the 3 Musketeers....We took Andy to the Chinese Buffet and had a ball, but then we ALWAYS have a ball when Andy's here.:) I'm glad to be on this photo so you know that I do exist!

Andy had never met Vivien...each time he was here, she and Brad were in TN. Brad and Vivien met us at the rest. and joined in the laughter which is a constant thing when Andy's around.

I've got 2 TEETH!!!!

Jan. 24th John will be 7 months old. He has his 2 bottom teeth and working on the 2 on the top. He says DaDa and Mum, can crawl, sit up, and yest. he waved bye bye. (I've been working on that with him for a month). These big blue eyes just melt your heart.

40 YEARS AGO....!

Here we are in the church just before the ceremony....Remember the "sister"..well, there they are on the far right..Mindy, Michele, and Marj..

Can you believe my mom isn't my sister?...she had 5 children and my brother Jack was 1 year old at the wedding...Boy do they look young!

Remember Andy in the last photos....here he is with Keith - YES, that's Keith! He never went back to that barber again...I've cut his hair ever since that day!

It was a rainy day outside but it didn't keep the 300 family and friends from coming, even Aunt Esther. Our reception "tea" was held in the church also...from there we went back to my parents for a second recept...the rain caused MUD and one of the drivers in our wedding got stuck in the field next to the house..Dad had to go get the tractor and pull him out...WHAT A MEMORY. Oh, and someone forgot to get rice to throw, so they grabbed the oat meal and threw that...WHAT A MESS!!!... It got colder and the weather was icy by the time we were to go to the PHI airport. Andy and Kathy ended up staying with us til 4:30 a.m. - Keith and I took off at 6:30 for Bermuda...we were so ready for some warmth.

Andy was in town!

Andy flew in for a week....the last time he was here John wasn't born. So this photo shows how apprehensive John was when Andy picked him up. It's always GREAT to have Andy home...next time bring Leanne:)

John warmed up to Andy and all was well:) Next time will be better - promise! Andy will celebrate a birthday next weekend....he's between Keith and I in age...and in grades at school. So glad we manage to stay close..wished you lived closer.

3 Birthdays!!!

I am definitely behind on my birthdays:( Back in Nov., Michele had a birthday. But instead of celebrating her birthday....we used that day to SURPRISE Marj for her 60th. Then, in Dec. on Marj's birthday, we celebrated Michele's 52nd. When I was 10 years old, Michele was born. I was so excited to have another sister! She was so cute and could say about 100 words by the time she was 1 year old. The big one was vacination...:) I never needed dolls cause I had the REAL thing! Loved being Michele and Mindy's second mother. Happy Birthday Michele, sorry this was late.

Here are the "sisters"...Marj, Mindy, Michele, and Me! Happy 60th Marj... she and I are only 18 months apart... I really don't remember her being born - But we sure had a great childhood playing on the homestead with all our cousins and grandparents....

Jack came along when I was just about 21.....he was 1 year old at our wedding. He's such a talented brother, a GREAT hunter and fisherman...plus being an EXCELLENT shot both bow and gun. That came from Mom and Dad...Mom being a super markswoman. Oh, and an amazing water skier! There's not much he doesn't excel at... Happy 41st Birthday Jack!

Even with a cold John is pleasant...and happy. He's now up on the knees and hands...crawling is so much fun!!!

Sitting up is ALMOST a reality too. Can't believe how quickly he picks up on so many things...:) He's working on those gums...the teeth must be close behind... Just had to share these!

After John leaves each day keith and I rest....this cough just holds on and on...but the more I rest...the better off I am. It's got to go away SOON..! Right?

Christmas 2008

Well, these came out backward...sorry. This was John part way thru the Christmas morning. He did great! But just can't help thinking of what a cute angel he is.

We went up to Steve and Di's at 7 a.m. upon their request...that's when John is up and we all had much to do that day. He really got into the opening of the paper...just wait til next year!

I was really not feeling my best...but tried to get thru the day.... From the kids house to my mom's at 9..then home to start frying the turkys and getting all the food ready for the 21 for 12:30 meal... It was just not the same knowing that Dad was in the hosp.... Many left our place and went to see him on their way home.

Dec. 24th....2008...Dad fell

I know it's 2009, but I've been down with at least one cold if not one on top of another since Dec. 19th. Everyone has been asking about the blog...so I'll try and catch up today...

My Dad fell on the ice at 7 a.m. on the 24th. Broke 6 ribs on the back left side of his body. He was in the hosp. for a week...and of course , I couldn't go to see him.:( I am going up to visit today for the fist time...it's Jan. 2nd.
