John and Me:)

Thanks to Samantha taking this shot, I have one photo to share where I'm with John.... Just love Johnny Boy!!!

Christmas 2008

Well, these came out backward...sorry. This was John part way thru the Christmas morning. He did great! But just can't help thinking of what a cute angel he is.
We went up to Steve and Di's at 7 a.m. upon their request...that's when John is up and we all had much to do that day. He really got into the opening of the paper...just wait til next year!

I was really not feeling my best...but tried to get thru the day.... From the kids house to my mom's at 9..then home to start frying the turkys and getting all the food ready for the 21 for 12:30 meal... It was just not the same knowing that Dad was in the hosp.... Many left our place and went to see him on their way home.

Dec. 24th....2008...Dad fell

I know it's 2009, but I've been down with at least one cold if not one on top of another since Dec. 19th. Everyone has been asking about the blog...so I'll try and catch up today...

My Dad fell on the ice at 7 a.m. on the 24th. Broke 6 ribs on the back left side of his body. He was in the hosp. for a week...and of course , I couldn't go to see him.:( I am going up to visit today for the fist time...it's Jan. 2nd.

The SIZE of Jeans!!!

I was hanging up the clothes and thought this was so cute... There's Keith's (Papa's) jeans and little John's jeans - how things come around...I remember hanging jeans for the boys not too long ago..Ha. Yes, John's jeans look pretty long...he's about 28 1/2 inches long.

Annual Dinner with Friends- Dec.9th 2008

Harry, Karen, Tom, Loraine, Keith and I decided several years ago to get tog. around Christmas and have a dinner tog. It's so much fun to get tog. and look forward to the "travels" in our RV's for the next year. Keith made turkey steak, "his" wonderful brussel sprouts, and garlic noodles. Karen brought warm rolls.mmm Loraine made a DARK choc. cake with DARK choc. icing....my favorite!!!
We're so blessed to have GREAT FRIENDS!!!
