Sat.afternoon 2/6/2010 - Eloy, Skydiving

We drove to Eloy on the way home cause we heard about the skydivers and everyone said we should go and take a look.
We had no idea what a big weekend this was for the skydivers... Parking was at a preium so we knew something was up. It was so exciting walking toward the fields where dozens of divers were landing. As we kept walking we realized that there were two fields and full of divers.

About a dozen RV's were parked for the weekend, plus many people carrying their chairs to a front row so they could get the best view. The restaurant had standing room only. Planes were taking off one after another with dozens of divers in each plane. Keith saw that they were taking paying customers up tandum ....and once he saw how easily they landed, I knew he would have gone up. He's always wanted too. There was an inside skydiving turbine about 1/2 mile down the road so we headed there for Keith to try that first. DARN it was closed.

After the divers land...they head to repack their shuts for another trip up in the air.

This guy just decided to repack his shut right there on the grass. We were so glad we decided to come here.:)
