I still haven't mastered how to move photos on this blog... This is not to be first:( It was a beautiful morning and by 10 a.m. there were other pickleball players beside Harry, Karen, Larry, Keith and myself. The sun felt so good. Must have been in the high 60's so we played til 1:30 or 2.
As soon as the sun came up I took this shot from our site. Yes, that is snow on the mountain peak in the distance.
We are so very pleased with how nice and clean and neat everything is here at Verde Valley. The hot tub opened and so we tried it out and...it's GREAT! Just what you need after a hard day ...Ha.
As you can see it's very empty in the park...but, we've been told that by the 4th or 5th there would be several groups coming in . It's just so nice to have a nice quiet place to relax.
More pickleball .. The courts are nice and more players are showing up each day.
The pool is open now too...it's heated by solar and the temp. is 80. All the furniture is new and everything is newly painted. Encore is spending some money on the parks:)
This is the view from the back of the courts facing the pool area.. The structure you see is a very nice place to gather and sit and relax while waiting to play ball.
Karen was hungry for Mexican food so...the 5 of us got our showers and headed out to find some MX food for dinner. Su Casa is where we ended up.
Now Karen is a happy camper!!!
and Harry was ready to dig in.:)
